Making Waves: Residents Enjoy Beach Day Fun

The Carlisle Palm Beach joined its sister community, Wellington Bay, for Liberty Senior Living’s first Florida Beach Day, a lively celebration inspired by an annual tradition at Liberty’s North Carolina communities. Close to fifty residents from independent living, assisted living, and memory care spent the day by the shoreline alongside family members and team members.

“Many residents have grown up in the area and are accustomed to accessing the beach easily and whenever they’d like. It can, however, become an increasing challenge to do so because of transportation, safety concerns, and mobility across the sand or in the water,” said Haley Kinne-Norris, Home Office Director of Life Enrichment and Wellness. “Beach Day was made possible through adaptive equipment and handson assistance. It was a day of camaraderie and fun for everyone.”
