"My mother has been living in the Memory Care side of The Carlisle for a little over a year and is living her best life. Every 2 weeks, they bring in dolls that look very much like babies and pass them around for all to hold. It's been very popular. We meet virtually each month to discuss various topics, share any struggles and provide guidance to each other. There is nothing like talking with others who know exactly what you are going through and have their loved one living in the same facility. There are so many emotions for those who care for someone with dementia...sadness, guilt, love, fear, anger, etc....meeting with this support group is very validating of all those emotions and has truly made a difference for me.
